Tamar Braxton had everyone taking “several seats” and “getting their lives” when she starred in We TV’s Braxton Family Values, a reality series chronicling the day-to-day shenanigans of the iconic Braxton siblings.

Alongside the then-married songstress, the episodic production, which originally aired from 2011 to 2020, featured her sisters, Toni, Traci, Towanda, and Trina, and their mother, Ms. Evelyn.

Chaotic and quite controversial, Braxton Family Values offered a new level of fame for Tamar, the baby of the talented bunch, who instantly hustled her way into the hearts of many with her quick-witted sayings and undeniable vocal range.

Tamar came to reclaim her time, proving she was more than the younger sister of the family’s “Un-Break My Heart” megastar.

From grinding recording artist to a solidified global phenomenon, it wasn’t long before Braxton became a household name of her own — aside from the pandemonium attached to her bloodline.

However, if you thought Tamar was done, in her most notable words, you (definitely) tried it. The DMV native’s career has skyrocketed since the premiere of the classic show in more ways than one.

Tamar's success didn't start with reality TV. In fact, it was her early, choral beginnings back home on the East Coast that catapulted her triumphant journey we see the results of today.

Let’s look at Tamar Braxton’s net worth as of 2025.

So, what is Tamar Braxton’s net worth in 2025?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Tamar’s total wealth is (allegedly) $3 million as of 2025, but reports are conflicting. In 2024, CAKnowledge reported that her net worth was $51 million (per HotNewHipHop) – a vast difference. With her various assets and accolades, one can assume that the calculations fall between each of those numbers – if not more.

Tamar Braxton’s filmography and discography are both impressive.

Braxton’s musical run began in the quintet The Braxtons. The group signed their first record negotiation with Arista Records in 1989. A year later, their debut track, “Good Life,” was released. The group disbanded after Toni embarked on her individual efforts. The ladies went on to sing backup for Toni.

In 1993, the group reunited and inked a deal with LaFace Records. Tamar, Trina, and Towanda later resurfaced as a trio in 1996. Together, the songbirds unveiled their full-length project, So Many Ways.

In 1999, Tamar left the threesome to pursue a single contract with DreamWorks Records. In 2000, her breakout, self-titled album hit the market, spawning lead melodies “Get None” and “If You Don’t Wanna Love Me.”

2001 saw a burst of momentum for Braxton, who contributed “Try Me” to the blockbuster Kingdom Come’s soundtrack. It wasn’t until 2011 that things really took off.

The victories that accompanied Braxton Family Values simultaneously launched Braxton’s comeback on the hit-making scene, which was heavily documented in her and her ex-husband’s (record executive Vincent Herbert) spin-off series, Tamar & Vince (2012).

By 2013, her long-awaited sophomore album, Love & War, graced the shelves via Epic/Streamline Records, accumulating much of the fortune and fan base she has now.

The work was monumental for Braxton, as it kicked off at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200. Her later albums were Winters Loversland (2013), Calling All Lovers (2015), and Bluebird of Happiness (2017).

Braxton’s on-camera achievements didn’t end with WeTV, though. From 2013 to 2016, she co-hosted the daytime talk show The Real, with Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry.

Marriages, money, and motherhood – what is Tamar Braxton doing now?

It appears that Tamar is now a single woman. She has had three marriages: Darrell “Delite” Allamby, Vincent Herbert, and (reportedly) Jeremy “JR” Robinson.

After her first nuptials, Vince and Tamar met through her sister, Toni, in 2003. The former couple shares one son, Logan, born in 2013. Tamar filed for divorce in 2017. A year before the divorce finalization, she began dating high-profile businessman David Adefeso until 2020, when the pair parted ways following domestic violence allegations.

In 2023, she and personal injury attorney Robinson got engaged. The lovers met while Robinson competed in Peacock’s Queens Court, where Braxton, fellow singer Nivea, and Basketball Wives’ Evelyn Lozada set out to find Mr. Right.

Unfortunately, the relationship turned sour, resulting in a publicized breakup. Per Braxton’s podcast, Life, Love, & Beyond with Tamar & Taz, she’s done with romance for (at least) another eight years.

She said, “My kid is eleven. I probably won’t date again until he’s eighteen.” Braxton added: “There’s no way I’m going to bring another man into his life to be unsuccessful. There’s no way.”

What is Tamar Braxton doing now?

These days, aside from her podcast, she’s (seemingly) focused on gearing up for The October Nights: Calling All Lovers Tour with October London and special guest Ro James. Additionally, she and her mother partnered with Cleo TV for Cooking Sessions with Tamar & Ms. E in conjunction with her company, Tamar Braxton Productions.

As you can see, Braxton hasn’t missed a beat or a bag. Shout-out to this bombshell for putting on for the girls getting money!
