Joie Chavis’s Kids Help Her Cancel Out the Noise She Gets Because of Their Fathers

The Breakdown: Social media influencer and dancer Joie Chavis was introduced to the world as Bow Wow's baby mother. However, she has since continued turning heads with her additional children from high-profile relationships.

Falling in love with a celebrity isn't easy, especially if and when things go South. But some celebrity exes have continued to hold their own long after they stop dating the person people assume is affording their lifestyle. Joie Chavis, for instance, is about her money and her role as a devoted mother. Here's the scoop on her kids from various public suitors.

Joie is a mother of three. Her first child, Shai Moss, was born on April 27, 2011. Shai was born during Joie's on-and-off relationship with Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss. The pair dated in the 2010s but split when their first child was younger. Since then, both have gone on to have more children.

According to XXL, Joie began dating rapper Future in 2017. They kept their relationship hush-hush for nearly a year before she became pregnant with her son, Hendrix Wilburn. The pregnancy turned heads when Future attended Joie's baby shower in November 2018.

After the birth of her second child, Joie announced in March 2024 that she was pregnant with her third child.

Social media commenters suggested that the father of her child was Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs. Joie and Trevon's relationship was on and off during her pregnancy and played out on Instagram. Still, Trevon attended their child, Harlo Rose's, baby shower and snapped a photo of him holding his newborn after Joie delivered her in August 2025.

Joie's relationship history often keeps her fans, or dare we say, haters from sharing their opinions about her exes. However, despite her being a mother of three with her apparel line, Joie in Life, and other opportunities, sis still has plenty of time to clap back.

In an October 2024 TikTok, Joie addressed comments she receives about her choosing to have three different children by as many men. Others have labeled her a "gold digger" due to her baby daddies all being in the public eye.

One fan asked Joie on TikTok, "How do you rise above the hate? I be ready to fight these people talking crazy about you, lol.” The dancer responded by saying that she receives plenty of ill-intended remarks, many of which come when she's simply minding her business.

"Okay, so honestly, I get a lot of hate," Joie said. "And people say the most… rude, disrespectful, mean things about me every single day. Like, I get [tagged] in it. I see TikTok videos that people make. Go out of their way to make to bash and talk about me."

Joie added that she's far too booked and busy to stay in someone's comments section.

"I just don’t let [strangers] get to me. Or like … their opinions of me and my life and the decisions that I make or anything that I do get to me, I can’t because I have three kids to raise, I have a business to run. And I need to be in a good mental state in order to do these things successfully."

As long as Joie's kids are happy and taken care of (which it appears they are) we can't be mad at it!
