In an article posted by Cosmetic Designs, they describe the technology behind dry masks. The company behind these innovative beauty masks is Biomod, and as described on Biomod‘s website:
-“Unlike typical sheet masks, this new generation of masks offers a dry to the touch, water-free, non-drip and one step masking experience, packed with a high percentage of active ingredients, free of all the unwanted chemicals.”

They even provide a visual in which they show the difference between the masks we’re used (sheet masks) vs dry masks.
The visual shows that sheet masks are usually 80% to 91% water with active ingredients ranging from 1% to 7%.
However, dry mask’s active ingredients between the 80% to 96% range with 0% water.
Their technology is patent protected BMV technology.
They explain how many products remain on the surface of the skin, but dry mask’s technology allow for the products to be absorbed slowly and steadily beyond the surface of the skin for a period of 6 to 8 hours.
This revolutionary beauty product was introduced by Canadian start-up, Bare Me Beauty, at Indie Beauty Expo in Los Angeles California last month.
Cosmetics Design has been following their technology for years since interviewing them back in 2016.
