R&B singer Angelica Vila, originally from the Bronx, gained notoriety in 2016 when she released a remix of Justin Bieber's smash song "Sorry", which provided the foundation for her unique music to become known, and her 1998 first EP came soon after. Vila's strong voice and incisive hip-hop production combined to create a five-song compilation that provided a solid foundation for her self-penned love and betrayal songs.
