The glitter, glam, and wings of the infamous Victoria Secret Fashion Show made its way to the Big Apple to film the 2018 runway extravaganza.

This year’s show was filled with all kinds of excitement. Returning fan-favorite models Barbara Palvin and Toni Garrn are taking the runway for the first time since 2012. The 2018 show is also the angel debut for the widely-loved model, Winnie Harlow, who would be the first model with vitiligo to walk the VS runway.

Victoria Secret also brought on a new designer. London-based designer, Mary Katranzou, worked with the fashion show for the first time, and she shook things up giving her British flair to some of the looks.

Usually, the Victoria Secret Fashion show looks steadily focused on the lingerie being worn, highlighting the whole purpose for the show. Katranzou, however, did not follow suit with this tradition in some of her looks.

Except for her celestial inspired set of looks, her designs were styled more into outfits, even showcasing large pieces of clothing with loud prints atop the lingerie nearly muting it out of the look. She also incorporated full outfits into the show, which truly showed off her unique designs.

And, of course we have to mention the traditional “Fantasy Bra”. This year it was worn by the Swedish model, Elsa Hosk. The bra is composed of 2,100 Swarovski diamonds and costs $1 million. This year, they will be releasing a similar version in stores that will cost around $250 and will be made with Swarovski crystals.

Victoria Secret is always known for their live performances. Last year they had Harry Styles perform on the runway. This year’s performers include Bebe Rexha, the Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, Rita Orta, Shawne Mendes, and The Struts.

The show will air on ABC on December 2nd at 10pm. In the meantime, we can all extensively Instagram stalk the looks to get ready for the show.
