Sneaker Room has teamed up with Nike for a fundraising collaboration in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Together, they will be dropping three limited edition QS versions of Nike’s popular React Element 87 silhouette. One of the shoes’ signature Swoosh will be covered in Swarovski crystal.
In 2017, the duo raised money for Breast Cancer Awareness with a trio of Air More Money sneakers. Fast forward to now, two years later, their new babies feature the #SRcares slogan, “Changing the world one sole at a time,” on the plugs on the React’s sole unit. The tongue features the SRcares branding, and the heel tabs display a printed edition number. The shoes are all limited edition – 525 pairs of a pink on pink pair will sell for $250; 126 pairs of a white on pink style will retail for $500; and only 63 pairs of the Swarovski crystal adorned black on pink iteration is prepared to break banks at $1000.
But it’s all for a good cause – 100% of the proceeds go to Jersey City Medical Center. Most of the shoes will be available in store at the Sneaker Room location at 410 Central Avenue, Jersey City on September 28, 11 am. And if you can’t make it to Jersey City this Saturday, a very limited amount of each version will also be available for purchase on the Sneaker Room website.
