Shenseea Is Way Too “Blessed” For Worries

Shenseea is indeed Blessed with her latest track appropriately titled “Blessed.”

This is the summer anthem you’ve. been. waiting. for! “Jamaican Dancehall Princess” Shenseea turns up the heat and confidence with this latest hot track set in none other than the island of Jamaica.

“Blessed” was directed by Arrad and features Tyga. If that wasn’t enough to set her apart from rising stars, the track was co-written and produced by Rvssian, Theron and Stephen McGregor.

The best part is that the release of this debut single comes as a celebration for her recent signing to Rich Immigrants/Interscope Records so the “Blessed” vibes are as authentic as they are catchy.

This feel good track is a testament to her character as she exhibits pride in her Jamaican culture (gotta rep your roots!) and gratitude for her life.

She states:

“I’ve always shared my gratitude to God and my supporters, I am blessed and grateful for them; and I think this song expresses that, not only for me but for others too.  It’s an empowering and confident song for everybody, I hope my fans will hear this and learn to love themselves for who they are and reflect more on their blessings all while enjoying the sound of good music.”

And empowering it is! Unlike many hit songs out there that can be difficult to relate to unless you’re rich, Shenseea boasts a different kind of rich. “Blessed” is a thank you to privilege of life.

way too Blessed“

Definitely adding this to my list of songs I need to wake up to.
