Savage X Fenty NYFW Show to be on Amazon Prime

Our mother Rihanna has chosen an online outlet for the second annual Savage X Fenty show. The Fall/Winter 2019 presentation is set to take place during New York Fashion Week which runs September 5-12, and can be streamed on Amazon Prime on a later date.

It was described in a press release from Savage X Fenty that the NYFW show this year is going to be “a radical departure from tradition, a one-of-a-kind event blending music, fashion and culture.” Streaming is exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories, and will begin on September 20.

Rihanna wrote in a statement, “I couldn’t be more excited that everyone will have full access to The Savage X Fenty Show this year! We are working on creating a bold, sexy, super energetic experience for our viewers.” The event will feature “some of the hottest acts in music.” Amazon‘s Savage X Fenty Show film will also include behind-the-scenes footage.

Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios, said that “Rihanna has reinvented the idea of what fashionable lingerie should be for a global customer,” and that the event will provide “an exclusive front row seat” to a groundbreaking and truly unique experience that sees how the brand “authentically reflects empowering statements of inclusivity, body positivity and fun.”
