Rachel McAdams Confirms Baby Boy In New Interview

After months of speculation as to if Mean Girls actress Rachel McAdams had given birth, she has finally opened up about her new role as a mother. In an interview with The Times, McAdams, who is usually very private, talked about her new movie Disobedience and how her life has changed since becoming a mom. The actress admitted she gave birth to her new baby boy in April with boyfriend, screenwriter Jamie Linden, and since then has embraced her new family,”It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down,”.
Before her in-depth interview with the times had taken place it was unsure when the actress had given birth, but she refused to give her new baby’s name or birthday during the interview in an attempt to keep his life as private as possible stating”I want to keep his life private, even if mine isn’t.” However the actress has appeared to welcome motherhood with open arms telling The Times how much it has changed her life “I’m having more fun being a mum than I’ve ever had,” McAdams commented. “Everything about it is interesting and exciting and inspiring to me.”
Although McAdams admitted that she wanted to wait until the time was right to start a family, stating she knew that this was the perfect time. On questioned whether she finds this new chapter of her life difficult, she explains”[People say] your life is not your own anymore. But I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person.” When asked if she would consider more children she briefly stated “I think there is definitely room for more.”
