The founder and CEO of One/35 agency, Shante Bacon is taking her marketing and public relations talents and breaking ground in jewelry. The goal that translates over all of her endeavors is to optimize the human experience. The artistic side of this goal is visible in her new jewelry line collection Elouise & Ethel.
Bacon has made her way across a variety of platforms, over the past decade, within the entertainment industry, education system as well as the local community. She told Ebony Magazine ” If you’re a true marketing professional, you know the landscape has to evolve constantly so that you can be in front of the times.” One/35 and Elouise & Ethel target people of color, particularly millennials, and aim to inspire engage and mobilize.
The jewelry collection consists of nine pieces all inspired by the warmth and love women experience from their grandmothers. The pieces resonate with a multigenerational lineage and aspire to remind young women of their roots while shaping their futures. Back in 2012 on the 19th episode of ” She’s The Boss,” Bacon told Madame Noire her agency creates “Campaigns that resonate with the urban youth consumer and the urban business professional.” We find that ever so visible just in the names and taglines of her new products:
Many say that Bacon‘s work ethic is undeniable, it’s no wonder that she has managed to achieve her dream she vocalized in that same “She’s The Boss” interview,
-“It has always been a dream of mine to own my own business and get my business to the point where it helps other African- American entrepreneurs own their own business,”
“It has always been a dream of mine to own my own business and get my business to the point where it helps other African- American entrepreneurs own their own business,”
she also said, “I think my work ethic is a result of being blessed with people who pushed me outside my comfort-zone.”
