It’s no secret that I love me some P!nk. She’s real when it comes to portraying emotional personal topics. “Family Portrait” portrayed how her childhood affected her adulthood, and “Please Don’t Leave Me” was catchy/poppy, but it also brought up a fear of abandonment. Even “So What” accurately represented that feeling of having your heart broken and the determination to get tf over it.
Pink recently released a video for “90 Days” off her latest album “Hurts 2B Human.” In a video post on Instagram, Pink mentioned that the video was shot by one of her backup dancers, Remi, who’s a budding director. She said, “I believe in celebrating all the many facets of the people around me.”
The video was shot between shows in Portland and Detroit. According to Rolling Stone, the video “intimately portrays the emotional toil of being a touring musician with a family.”
Like many artistic creations, the video and lyrics can be interpreted in many ways, which is great since most of us don’t know what it’s like to hold down a relationship while touring. The video stars her and her husband Carey Hart during happy times, and during moments when they’re having difficulties seeing eye-to-eye.
Her lyrics set the emotional turbulence of unsurity:
-“Just let me down slowly, I’ll be okay
If you’re just some habit that I gotta break
I can clear my system in 90 days”
“Just let me down slowly, I’ll be okay
If you’re just some habit that I gotta break
I can clear my system in 90 days”
