In Memory of Angus Cloud: Zendaya's Heartfelt Tribute

The sad news of the death of actor Angus Cloud in July 2023 shocked the entertainment world.
Since his departure at the young age of 25, he has managed to touch the hearts of millions of fans who continue to pay tribute to him following his departure. A lot of artists have also sent messages expressing how sad they were at the loss of their colleague and friend.
Zendaya's Tribute
Remember Zendaya shares the screen with Angus Cloud in Euphoria. A day after the heartbreaking news broke, she took to Instagram on Tuesday to pay tribute to him
In her post, the actress attached a photo of Cloud on Instagram and spoke about how words were not enough to express the beauty of Angus Cloud as a person and professional. The 28-year-old expressed how grateful she is to have had the opportunity to meet and work with him
“... to call him brother, to see his warm, kind eyes and bright smile, or to hear his infectious laugh.”
Cloud began to gain recognition in 2019 after appearing in Euphoria. He plays Fezco in the series as a drug dealer who drops out of school. We also saw how he cares about the protagonist, Rue (played by Zendaya). His tragic loss has generated a multitude of tributes from the series' followers.
Other Celebrities Who Gave Tribute
Not only Zendaya spoke out through social media. Other stars who are part of the cast of the series in which we saw Angus were also moved by his death.
Barbie Ferreira, Sydney Sweeney, and Maude Apatow are some of the actresses who have come forward to express their sadness. Each one through their words remember Angus as a sweet and fun man through photographs of what the moments shared with him was like, from the long and intense days of recording where their friendship strengthened.
The Creator of the Euphoria Series Reacts
Along with Zendaya, Sam Levinson who produced Euphoria for HBO also gave his tribute after the news broke. He talked about how very sad he felt when he heard that Angus had died. Sam says he was very talented and liked by the TV channel and Euphoria family. "We are very sorry for his friends and family right now," Sam Levinson said on social media. He hoped the star knew how many people he made happy while still living.
"I always loved him and still do. May he now have peace, God bless his family," wrote Sam Levinson. Even though the reason for his death caused arguments at first, Angus Cloud actually died from an accidental overdose, according to Alameda County authorities in California, as reported by TMZ. As a tribute to the star, when some of the episodes of the series are played on the HBO Max platform, viewers will find a photo of Cloud accompanied by the following dedication: "In memory of Angus Cloud. 1998-2023.”
