Willow has grown up in the limelight, being a child of famous actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. Additionally, she is a superstar in her own right, with achievements in the Guinness World Book of Records, especially in music.

She has released five albums, a collaborative album, a collaborative EP, and countless singles. And with her musical releases and success, she has also garnered plenty of financial success.

Willow Smith, who has been involved in several social and environmental causes, has shown her activist side through the years. Activism is something close and dear to her—something she learned from her parents.

When asked what she learned from her parents in an interview with Glamor, she said, "I've learned from them that it's not worth it if you don't try to help people. None of it is worth it if you're not in service."

Climate Activism

There is something fulfilling about standing up for a cause you believe in. That isn't to say that career and financial success are insignificant. However, joining a community and championing the values and ethos of that community is incredibly fulfilling especially when the cause is to save our planet from environmental deterioration and global warming.

Willow is among the few celebrities who use their voices to spread the gospel of sustainability and fight against global warming. Not only does she speak out to encourage people to be conscious of climate change on her platform, but she has also participated in various climate rallies.

The worldwide youth-centric march was inspired by School Strikes for Climate. With the rallying call "We demand climate justice for everyone," activists aimed to speak in one voice, encouraging governments around the world to fight climate change by taking concrete steps.

On her Instagram, she announced, "I'm joining youth and millions of people around the world to demand climate justice for all… Wherever you are in the world, you can join me at an event where you live: globalclimatestrike.net."
