The Euphoria actress preaches water and drinks it. Storm’s commitment to staying fit is quite impressive, especially because she started it in her early teenage years, and has stayed consistent to date. The actress posts videos of herself doing a range of workouts in the gym, including resistance training, weighted squats, balancing, battle ropes, and sprint running.
Storm challenges herself to greater heights, and most of the time, she pushes the limit. Besides spending time at the gym and in the studio pursuing her acting career, Storm is a passionate cook and shows it in her Facebook series, Chop It Up. The actress believes that fitness is useless if one doesn’t eat right. She has a strict diet plan that she follows religiously. Her natural body figure shows her great workout and diet plan results.
Why Storm Reid Is Obsessed With Fitness
Storm points to her mother as her greatest source of inspiration when it comes to maintaining body fitness. Since she was a kid, her mother always found new ways to keep her moving. “To have an overall healthy body, for me, it's really [about] self-love and making sure that I take care of myself, whether that is moving my body or taking time off and resting my body,” she told Shape magazine. “I started to take [fitness] more seriously two years ago because my mom is a very physical person, and I always saw her working out… [Working out] just made me feel good, and it set precedent for how my day was gonna be.”
Consistency is key, and besides along with physical fitness, Storm’s mental health has also greatly improved due to her workouts. In the first episode of Beyond The Run by New Balance, Storm acknowledged that living her life isn’t easy. Being a teenage star from such a young age put immense pressure on her. She had to find a way to protect and take care of herself. Storm turned to working out as a way to retrieve psychological benefits. Even though Storm is at the age where she’s still figuring out what mental health is, she’s confident that moving will always be the solution.
Storm Reid Is The New Face Of New Balance
Many have been following Storm Reid, and New Balance recently came forward to claim her as their brand ambassador. While speaking to Teen Vogue, the When They See Us star revealed that she was delighted to be picked by a fitness brand to represent young people. Traditionally, sneakers were designed for men. Storm wants to change that narrative. She aims to convince her fans that one can be a woman, fit, and still stylish.
