While her penchant for flamboyant wigs once dominated her image, she’s now embracing a shift towards her natural hair, amplified by extensions, stunningly blending authenticity with glamour.

Nicki has the best wig collection since Marie Antoinette, and we won’t argue. It’s all thanks to her wig master, Terrence Davidson.

“Right before I walk out the door, I grab one. Today, I wore a beige jacket and brown boots and I wanted to keep the whole earth-tone color scheme, so I did blonde. But it all depends on my mood,” she told Allure in 2011. “I just like to feel euphoric and free—so I'm going for more of the pink and the crazy, weird stuff now.”

If the singer has long adopted the craziest wigs, the Marie-Antoinette- style hairpiece trend has dramatically diminished. The rapper has now moved on from her “Pink Friday” beehive wigs to another recent beauty trend.

She now opts for her natural hair straightened and enhanced by extensions.

“If I perm my hair it’s gon b touchin my booty. Should I perm it y’all? Real hair to match my real big ol ghetto booty. Ugh love this for me [sic],” she wrote on Instagram.

When it comes to makeup, the one with her line of varnishes from OPI, her Viva Glam lipstick duo from MAC, and her perfume, Pink Friday, leaves nothing to chance.

Nicki Minaj has long made us accustomed to pop facial makeup, especially when it comes to lipstick. The singer loves experimenting with various shades of lipsticks, but she seemingly prefers fuchsia tones.

In her handbag, she always has her lipstick from MAC, the incredible lip balm from Chanel, a few sponges to remove her makeup too.

She has a thing for the Chloe perfume and always ensures she has a full bottle. “I’m really obsessed with it. It’s my airport duty-free purchase whenever I’m flying.”
