The movies leaving Hulu this month
By Kali ColemanApril 2 2025, Published 12:51 p.m. ET
There are many reasons why a movie might leave Hulu—the rights may no longer be available, or its popularity may not justify the cost of licensing it, for example. Whatever the reason, you may want to get serious about catching some of these films before they're gone from the streamer for good in April.
As we move further and further away from the spookier seasons, many of the movies leaving Hulu this month are of the horror variety. The first departure will come on April 6 when "Agnes," a 2021 horror-drama film about a nun who is seemingly possessed by a demon, leaves the platform. Then the 2022 British psychological horror movie "She Will", which sees an aging film star retreating to the Scottish countryside, will disappear from Hulu on April 13. Soon after, "Resurrection," a 2002 Japanese-based horror movie where the dead come back to life, is set to depart the platform on April 27.
Fans of "The Bear" should also prepare for the departure of a film starring award-winning actor Jeremy Allen White. The 2018 romantic-drama "After Everything," which sees White as a young New Yorker whose life is turned upside down when he finds out he has cancer as he also finds himself falling in love, will disappear from Hulu on April 30.
