Monet & Jalen: The New Power Couple of Social Media

After months of fans speculating about the two lovebirds, Monet McMichael and Jalen Noble finally soft-launched their relationship. The announcement was made in a video of the two together and how their love bloomed. Fans who played sleuth can finally give it a rest and be happy that these two found love.

If you have been on social media recently, you must have seen a couple of videos done by Monet and Jalen. Monet is a vlogger who has over 1.2 million followers on Instagram and does day-in-the-life content for her YouTube channel, which has over 406k subscribers. Jalen is an alum of Love Island and is a lifestyle influencer known for his wholesome content. Jalen has over 1.1 million followers on Instagram.

In February 2023, Monet posted a GRWM vlog where she talked about a certain boy who slid into her DMs in November and had flown out to see her a couple of times. The vlog piqued the interest of her fans, who tried to figure out who the mystery man was. Even though people asked for answers and tried to piece evidence, Monet insisted she wanted to keep the relationship private. She said she wanted to figure out the new relationship first before she could make anything public.

One thing that made fans believe that the two were dating was when Monet posted a video of her first-ever cold plunge in a barrel that was clearly Jalen’s. There was also the fact that Jalen talked about giving a flower to a special lady and the flower ended up in a lady’s hand whose nails looked similar to what Monet had at the time. There was also the time Monet did a voiceover for Jalen’s day-in-the-life video.

Even though fans had enough evidence that these two might be together, the couple kept the entire relationship quiet for a while. There were a couple of times the two would post a couple of pictures but hide their partner’s face. While there were still some curious fans, many people respected their choice to keep the relationship under wraps until they hard launched it on 23rd April, 2023.

A little while after the couple posted their videos on their accounts admitting that they were indeed together, Monet started trending on Twitter. She responded to this by tweeting, “YALL SAW MY TIKTOK OR WHATTT!!! AHHHHHHH.” The two started liking and reacting to the posts related to their soft launch, which made their fans even more excited for them.

In an interview with the podcast, We Are Man Enough, Jalen talks about his struggle with suicide and how he went from being a playboy in Love Island to being a lover boy. The heart-to-heart podcast had him admitting that he sees a future with Monet. In his own words, he said, “…When I look in my partner's eyes, I see that. I see my future.”
