Hip-hop artist GloRilla has been producing hit song after hit song since she blew up in 2022 with songs such as “Tomorrow,” and “Blessed.” Her songs motivated thousands of women to live a fun-filled summer with their friends and not stress about toxic relationships or situations.
However, she has been recording and filming music videos for the past five years and has plenty of other songs that deserve the same hype. The rapper’s rap flow ability and unique voice combine to create a free-flowing music style and beat. Here are some of GloRilla’s best songs you didn’t hear scrolling on TikTok.
“Pop It” Featuring CMG, The Label and Produced By Mike WiLL Made-It
This recently released song features a couple of up-and-coming artists along with GloRilla. The hard-hitting club anthem featured stunning visuals as GloRilla rapped aggressively. The first line, “Don’t call me sis, I am not your sister, I will f**k your man,” sounds brash yet daring as an intro to the song. On YouTube, the “Pop It” music video has earned over 800,000 views and over 22,000 likes. The reviews range from verse appreciation to tone recognition.
“Get That Money” Featuring Niki Pooh
This song is track No. 6 on GloRilla’s debut album “Anyways Life’s Great” and features Memphis female rapper Niki Pooh. The song, which dropped in 2022, does not include a music video yet; however, the lyric video could stand alone for now. The video for “Get That Money” has amassed over 400,000 views (and counting) and comments appeared to appreciate the collab between the two Memphis natives. This is not the first time GloRilla and Niki Pooh have worked together to create a song, and most likely, won’t be the last. The overall message of the song is to get to the bag by using men for their money.
“OUTSIDE” Featuring Niki Pooh
The song appears to be a response to misogynistic and toxic men in their treatment of women. The overall message is for women to stay to themselves, with their friends, and have fun together outside of the house. “OUTSIDE” was a streaming hit for young adults and teens preparing their playlists for the impending summertime. This song garnered over 400 thousand views and was filmed in Memphis, Tennesse.
“Mo Money Mo Problems” Remix
This music video was dropped at the beginning of 2021 and was a remix of the well-known song, “Mo Money Mo Problems” by Biggie. Similar to Biggie, GloRilla raps about money, power, and fame. She discusses how having more money, results in more problems which is a common saying that most are familiar with. “Mo Money Mo Problems” was widely liked by people who grew up listening to OG rappers such as Biggie. People appreciated her respect and honor of the famous music beat.
