Coco Jones, the American singer, writer, and actress was born in 1998. She had developed a passion for entertainment at a tender age. She came into the limelight after being featured in the Next Big Thing on Radio Disney. The program aired between 2010 and 2011. From her first show, she went on to feature in many other Disney Channel shows and movies including Let It Shine, and Good Luck Charlie.

Coco has also been active in the music scene since she gained fame in 2010. In 2010, Coco released her debut single in the music industry with “Me and You” and has since released several other hit singles.

Upon her departure from Disney, Coco had decided to release her EPs and singles. Her dedication to her craft and her resilience against career stagnancy were the reason why she started releasing songs in 2014. Luck smiled at Coco in 2022 when she signed to Def Jam Records and till now she has continued to attain newer heights in her music career.

Under Def Jam Records, Coco Jones released her hit single ICU and she is currently a star in the Peacock series Bel-Air. Under Def Jam, Coco has released a new album titled What I Didn’t Tell You.” This album has already gained recognition for the amount of hard work put into it.

Coco doesn’t stop at creating great movies and putting her efforts into movies, she is also an advocate for more representation especially for aspiring young artists of her kind. Coco uses her social media to encourage young entertainers to explore their inner passion and channel their energies toward creating great products that will last long.

Coco is constantly pushing her followers to become more creative and not ignore their mental and physical well-being.

Fame and Recognition

Coco Jones’ resilience and growth have not gone unnoticed. In 2023 for instance, she was nominated for five Grammy Awards including Best New Artist.

Coco has gone on to win BET Awards and the NAACP Image Award in the past. Coco, who happens to be the daughter of Mike Jones, a Hollywood legend, has not allowed her father’s fame to cloud her ability to find her own space in Hollywood. In 2022, she won the Best New Artist award at the Soul Train Awards. In 2023, Coco Jones was once again nominated for the Soul Train “Best Album” . This award was given to Coco in recognition of the impact of her latest Album “What I Didn't Tell You”.

In her latest album, it is easy to discover Coco’s passion and resilience for success, especially in the choice of her music lyrics. She chose great songs that convey messages of love, motivation, and thirst for success. Her music was so captivating that she was found to be the best to win the award for the nominated category.
