Halloween time! It’s officially October! Spooky Season! I know. I know. It’s the 2nd day. Boo!
This is the time of year where horror movies and ghost encounters are prevalent on cable TV. The irony is that the price of cable TV is probably the scariest part, but let’s not get off topic!
Here are 13 Costume Ideas for you this Halloweeen
13 – Netflix and Chill
Speaking of cable TV. Nothing beats the disaster of a seemingly good conversation disrupted by an “I’m really horny though” interruption. Recreate this tragic encounter with a friend!
12 – Rey – Star Wars
The new Star Wars gave birth to Rey so hate it or love it, REY.
11 – Black Swan
Remember Natalie Portman’s performance in Black Swan? That movie was crazy. Everyone loves crazy on Halloween. This one’s pretty easy to put together! Here’s Jamie Chung in her getup.
10 – Fashion Nova Dark Water Siren
Fashion Nova‘s featuring some super sexy costumes. This mermaid costume is form-fitting and classy. It looks much more like an evening gown.
9 – Dolls Kill Cheerleaders
Last year Dolls Kill sold out of the Coven Cheerleader and Satan’s Cheerleader costumes way too fast, so this year they’re back with a few extra bangs.
8 – Fashion Nova’s Jessica Rabbit
Fashion Nova really knows how to style their curvy girls. This Halloween, their site features this beautiful Jessica Rabbit costume. A curvy 90s vixen.
7 – TLC
We can’t bring up the 90s and not spend some time on it. Come on! Best friends costumes never go out of style. If there’s 3 of you, well well well. How about a trip back to saying ‘no’ to scrubs.
6 – Moana
Cute!!! Check out this blogger’s site for a run-through on how she created Moana’s Voayager costume.
5 – Coco’s Frida Kahlo
If you haven’t seen Coco by now, WHAT. Go watch it. Disney’s interpretation of Frida Kahlo in the afterlife is really creative. A Little Android‘s cosplay of her is really creative as well. Disney meets Frida Kahlo meets Skull candy makeup.
4 – Lara Croft – Tomb Raider
Even Nicki said it, “Lara Been Croft!” This one’s important this year because her character started off oversexualized back in the 90s but this year they went a different route in the movies. The new Lara Croft is a girl-next-door kinda girl, except she kicks ass. You can substitute the
3 – Black Panther’s Shuri
The sassy, tech saavy little sister of the Black Panther. Shuri was high key the star of this movie. This costume is available at Part City for $50. Probably the only costume worth the price since it actually involves clothes.
2 – Wakandan Warrior Costume
The only reason why this is number 2 on the list, is because….where on Earth can this be purchased? I guess it’s only available in Wakanda. Throw a wig at your enemies’ faces and recreate this killer look.
1 – Sexy Cow
Move over sexy cat costumes. The reigning supreme of the animal kingdom this Halloween is the cow. Inspired by none other than Doja Cat.
“Bitch, I’m a cow. Bitch, I’m a cow. I’m not a cat. I don’t say meow.”
Get your cow print clothes together and be a cow. Fries sold separately.
