In 2012 Molly Rainford wowed judges on Britain’s Got Talent after her rendition of Jennifer Holliday‘s One Night Only. When asked about where she gets her inspiration from, Rainford replies:

“I love listening to the Pop girls at the moment like Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande. But on top of that I also listen to older RnB like Aaliyah and Mariah Carey because I love adding that 90’s flavour.”

The lyrics on ‘Commitment‘ offer a relatable look into complicated relationships that won’t take off:

She provides a lyrical explanation of a deep love that can’t be committed to, because the other party is essentially keeping them holding onto what turns out to be nothing.
