Here’s Why Lizzo Should Be the Next Bachelorette

The cultural icon Lizzo revealed in an interview with Cosmopolitan that she would love to be the next Bachelorette. Though she doesn’t even watch the show herself, she had some pretty amazing ideas of what her season would look like. I’ve never watched The Bachelorette either, but if it starred Lizzo, I would be tuning in every week. Here’s why Lizzo should definitely be the next Bachelorette: 

Lizzo revealed that if she were to become the Bachelorette, “it would just be the coolest season ever.” She said the men would have to be naked and would have “little thong briefs” as their uniform. And of course, they would have to feed this queen grapes. 

In her ideal season, Lizzo also revealed that “it would be mandatory to get my p*ssy eaten at least once on the whole season.” She also would want it to be filmed… For educational purposes of course. “The kids gotta learn someday.”

The thing I love most about Lizzo is her amazing confidence. Being a curvy girl in the music industry is not easy, but she owns her body and tells haters to f*ck off. She also passes along the very important message that everyone is beautiful in their own way, and that confidence is sexy.

She said in an interview with The Breakfast Club, “Yo, I’m gonna be in this body forever. Imma be this bitch forever. So, it’s like, you either live your life not liking her or you live your life trying to love her. So ever since then I’ve just been working on loving myself. Now I’m getting married to myself! It’s legal.”

I don’t think The Bachelorette or The Bachelor have ever had non-stick figures as their contestants. A move in the right body positive direction could do the program some good. Lizzo would certainly shake things up.

This artist made her name known for hit song “Truth Hurts.” If we can pull any message from the song, it’s that she has zero time for trash men.

When Lizzo broke out a flute for a solo during her performance of “Truth Hurts,” she blew everyone out of the water. We can only hope that if she were the Bachelorette, we would be seeing the flute way more.
