Lauryn Hill famed soul singer and rapper, just landed her first fashion campaign at age 43. Woolrich,an American based brand that specialize in outdoor apparel, made Lauryn Hill the face for a capsule collection which she also designs pieces for the collection. The collection is named “Woolrich: American Soul since 1830” and is part of the autumn/winter 2018 season. The collection consists of two limited edition jackets with the cover of her iconic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill on both coats.
Designing the coats was second nature to Hill because she has been making her own clothes for the past five years. Lauryn Hill showcased the coats in an ad where she is shown walking around New York City and in a concert hall. The background music for the ad is her chart topping single “Ex-Factor”.
Lauryn Hill is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her chart-topping album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. The icon is also celebrating The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Album with The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary tour. The “Woolrich: American Soul since 1830” collection will sell exclusively in stores around in North America and Europe.
