From working in the junior’s department at a Macy’s in Michigan, to being a reality TV personality in 2009, to becoming a fashion aficionado, Jessica Rich has been through a lot to be where she is now. Today, she’s making shoes that even J-Lo and the Kardashians go crazy for. Rich‘s footwear collection is even on display at Macy’s SELECT stores as of August 6th, 2019. “Reality TV likes to twist you and turn you and not really show who you are. I’ve always loved fashion and it’s always been a huge part of my life. I got the idea of starting my own brand by my ex-boyfriend, actually. He inspired me to do it, and I leveraged my relationships to make it successful. It was challenging.”

She told Bombshell that her next step is to get her brand into Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom’s, and she’s working on new store locations in London and New York. But on a more personal level…

“I’m hoping that I’ll find a relationship soon and god will send me someone long-term. I definitely have to say as a woman in this industry, I’m married to my business. But I’m ready to settle down with someone and spend all my amazing moments with them, and that can be very challenging because I feel like girls like me have a hard time finding guys who can actually accept that they’re also a boss.”
