BET recently announced that the successful show, “Hit The Floor” is officially cancelled after four seasons. The show made it’s debut in 2013 and was originally on VH1 for three seasons after BET picked it up for a fourth season. The show is about the basketball team, the LA Devils and their dancers, the Devil Girls as they deal with secrets and scandals that followed them in their personal lives.
Seasons 1-3 starred Kimberly Elise, Dean Cain, McKinley Freeman, Rob Riley, Katherine Bailess, Logan Browning, and Taylour Paige and in season four, we were introduced to new characters that were played by Teyana Taylor, Terrance J, and Kyndall.
Season four premiered during the summer just two weeks after the 2018 BET Awards and it was among a favorite by the fans on BET. Here is what a rep said about ending the show, according to The Wrap:
-“At this time, BET Networks will not be moving forward with a fifth season of Hit The Floor, we are grateful to the most passionate fans ever who helped to bring one more season of the #DevilsNation to the screen, and the incredible cast and dancers. We would especially like to thank and recognize the acclaimed executive producer and creator of the series James LaRosa for his passion and vision. We look forward to finding ways to continue in partnership.”

We are sad to see the show go and wished the cast on many wishes in their career.
