The last female soloist to get to #1 on Billboard was Meghan Trainor in September 2014.
Ms Cardi B’s real name is Belcalis Almanzar, born and raised in Bronx, New York. She did not have the easiest youth and has lived in poverty. According to Real Cool Nation, “has been feeling the call to fight white supremacy, and she’s using her Bloods affiliation to do it. The Bronx beauty recently posted a call to action for her NYC Blood gang friends to shut down a white nationalist rally that was supposed to take place.”
