‘Friends’ the Sitcom’s Pop-Up in New York

How you doin’? Big fan of Friends, the sitcom that wrapped way back in 2004? Then you’re in luck. Even though WE WERE ON A BREAK, the NYC-based show is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its premiere on NBC soon, and fans will be able to visit some of the show’s most iconic locations in the SoHo exhibit. The official website says, “immerse yourself in your favorite show like never before, complete with set re-creations, photo opps and of course, Central Perk!“
The production company Warner Bros. along with the studio’s consumer products division and Superfly are also launching a Friends merch line with details soon to be announced. The retail spot is at 503 Broadway and the ticketed pop-up will be on 76 Mercer Street. The month-long pop-up runs from September 7 to October 6 and will be open seven days a week from 10am to 10pm. I don’t know about you, but the anticipation gives me more anxiety than Chandler has (in the best way possible). But thankfully, there’s a layout to the pop-up here that you can peek.
If I were you, I’d set an alarm for this Friday because tickets go on sale on August 2 at 10 am EST for $29.50 each. Luckily I’m with AT&T because the month-long pop-up kick starts with the first day dedicated exclusively to AT&T customers who can get complimentary tickets through the mobile service company’s Thanks program.
