The world of modeling is full of beauty and glamour for people to gaze at in awe. However, underneath the pretty facade, these models withstand the allure of drug use, the yearn for social currency and the fear of being replaced. It is a system of rivalry, vengeance, and even murder.
Louis Vuitton model George Koh, 24, was convicted along with two accomplices on Monday for stabbing a fashion rival, Harry Uzoka, in the heart. The homicide was due to a social media dispute over a woman.
In the months leading up to their physical confrontation, British model George Koh had become overly envious of the more prosperous model Harry Uzoka, 25. The pair started locking horns on Instagram, where Uzoka accused Koh of being a “fake” and warned him to “stop copying him” according to British Mirror.
-“Leave my name out of your mouth, it’s that’s simple, I’ve never spoken bad of you in any way, so this is wild.” Mr. Uzoka directly messaged Koh.

Harry Uzoka had a dashing career setting into place. The 25-year-old was referred to as “the country’s most famous black model” in court. He has recently been cast to his first film role and signed contracts with GQ, Zara, and Mercedes-Benz.
The Escalation
The dispute over the pair drastically escalated when Koh bragged to another fellow model Annecetta Lafon that he slept with the victim’s cat-walker girlfriend, Ruby Campbell. The two models agreed to fight out their differences in Koh’s neighborhood on Jan. 11.
The two both brought weapons and backup. Harry armed himself with a dumbbell bar while George, on the other hand, wielded two knives. George and his two friends, Jonathan Okigbo and Merse Dikanda, carried machetes and chased down Uzoka. Afterward, they stabbed Harry three times, leaving him to die outside his apartment.
On Monday, the jury found George Koh, Jonathan Okigbo, and Merse Dikanda guilty of murder. They face life behind bars on September 21.
