If the fashion industry held an annual coronation then Siobhan Hunter would be the next fashion line to receive its crown.   One look at the brand and you’re hit with whirring waves of bold color. Founded by Alexis Hunter, her aesthetic is like the golden age of the 90’s.  There’s power, rebellion, and in the midst of all the color there are unapologetic statements like, Sex is a Sport, Black is Beautiful & CREAM.   On July 29th, the Philadelphia based clothing brand celebrated its 3 year anniversary which we had the pleasure of hosting. Guests arrived decked out in staple pieces from the collection ready to turn up and celebrate in rooms plastered in dollar signs, bright colors, and bold messages. Foam descended from the sky and the brands stans enjoyed every minute of it.    Hosted by Philly’s very own, Fresco Mills, rap-tress Stassi Pryce and chunes by Astro 8000, Siaani Love, and DJ Aye Boogie, the party itself was a direct representation of the brand in real time.  Her personal hashtag, #KNOWYOURPOWER could be felt throughout the entire festivity.

If fans of the brand were wondering what the designer would present to the world next, then this party was the perfect place to get a taste of what she has up her sleeve.  Making her DJ Debut under the name SELEKTA SEXXX, she dropped her first “SEXXX TAPE”  which was a whole vibe in itself!

The brand currently hosts six collections inviting consumers to “Discover a Fearless Approach in Original Style + Wearable Art.”  Stylized as “SBHN” she mentions their specialization in “limited casual, sports + reconstructive unisex wear.” Browse through her collections and you get the impression that your dreams are on the go with no time to waste.
