Finding a guy in New York City is hard, but trying to find a “fashion guy” is simple if you look for the signs. Yes, stereotyping the fashion industry is taboo to those in it, but there is no doubt that guys have a certain style that screams “I am fashion”. So if you’re looking for someone who has the same affinity for Raf Simons and fashion moguls of the likes, here are the things you need to look out for.
The Look
The go to look for most guys in the industry draw inspiration from designers such as Gosha Rubchinksy whose brand is the epitome of men’s streetwear. High waisted trousers that are cropped just so that you can see the sock: check. A T-shirt or button up tucked into said trousers: check. Black hightop converse: check. And to top things off a beanie and fanny pack clipped over the shoulder.
More looks can be seen on Pause Magazine, which captured men’s street style during New York Fashion at the beginning of this year!
