We had the chance to talk to the founders about the importance of giving back, sisterhood, and the impact their organization has had this far.

Since starting your company, what type of changes have you seen in the women that you bring together?

We think the women are allowing themselves to be open to meeting other successful and professional  women! We bring women from all backgrounds together and promote self care and a real sisterhood. We even tap into what it is that makes us so catty while diminishing the whole concept that women can’t work together.  

How does your organization cater to women who may not have the resources to travel? 

That is one thing we’re working on this year!  We’ve been reaching out to different companies and organizations trying to get different sponsors and funding because we are aware of the fact that everyone can not afford to go on a luxury trip.  But for those who can’t physically go on the trip we also have a small event in New York to meet some of the ambassadors and the other guests that would be attending. Networking is so important to us, so we still want to give women the chance to meet and connect with other amazing women.  We also educate women on how to save for a luxury trip. We want as many women to join us and be a part of this amazing experience.

During the trip, you also give back to the country that you visit, why is this element of the trip so important to you?

When we went to Cabo to visit the location we realized that Mexico is still a third world country.  The women in Cabo were scraping for food to eat and selling whatever they could to feed their families.  Then it was brought to our attention that most women in Cabo are unable to find jobs unless they speak English.  Giving back while we’re there is so important because we want to help the women of Cabo to acquire skills and provide them with opportunities to better themselves.

What would you hope to be the ultimate impact on your community?

We want women to feel like they can do anything and recognize we are a stronger force when we come together!  Even a great man notices the power of women!
