Emeli Sandé just recently dropped the video for “You Are Not Alone,” along with her new album Real Life featuring other new singles such as “Sparrow,” “Shine,” and “Extraordinary Being.” The song released in collaboration with X-Men: Dark Phoenix in June. As for “You Are Not Alone,” Emeli Sandé sings of hope and unity powerfully as she is backed by members of the House Gospel Choir and a children’s choir.

A late followup to her 2016 Long Live The Angels, Emeli Sandé recorded Real Life after a long and hard personal journey of self-doubt. Her eventual self-discovery inspired a bold, confident, and a brave new sound that is uniquely uplifting as well as sonically beautiful. She wrote the lyrics for all 11 tracks on the album and recorded them with Salaam Remi, James Poyser, and Troy Miller, who produced every song.

Sandé’s debut Our Version Of Events broke the U.K chart record for the most consecutive weeks inside the Top 10 and beat the 50-year record of The Beatles. The album’s first single “Next To Me” is certified Platinum in the U.S and clocked more than seven million downloads worldwide. She has since brought home several awards, including four BRITs, two Ivor Novello’s, and a BET. In 2017, she was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to the music industry.

This Sunday will have Emeli Sandé kicking off her U.K and European tour with a performance at BBC Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park. Can’t make it? At least you can get her new album here. Also, check out her video for “Shine” here.
