Did Cardi B Really Call Nicki Minaj Out Her Name

Cardi B made her first public appearance since becoming a new mom as last nights host of the MTV VMAs. The “I like It” rapper took to the stage pretending to breastfeed her daughter Kulture, what she later revealed was a Moonman that she won for song of the summer. During her opening act, Cardi referred to herself as the “The Empress” which many fans believe was a subliminal towards Nicki Minaj.

Minaj released her album Queen last week which has since required many press interview where Cardi’s name has yet again been brought up.  Though Minaj hasn’t called out Cardi B directly, the “Barbie Dreams” star has stirred up a lot of controversy by mentioning labels that pay for artist promotion and saying she’s the only female MC out right now that writes 100% of her own raps.  While the Barbz have been right there rooting their Queen on, Bardi Gang hasn’t taken to lightly these comments.
