Music icon Diana Ross is testing the beauty waters with her new fragrance “Diamond Diana” exclusively sold on the Home Shopping Network (HSN). Packaged in a diamond shaped bottle, it contains floral, fruit, and musky hints that create a “soulful, sophisticated scent” that is “inspired by the powerful connection between music and sensual memories” according to the HSN website. The fragrance will be sold for $74.95 (presale price) and $95 on December 5.
Ross isn’t the first musician to delve into the beauty industry according to The Cut– Madonna with her MDNA skincare line, Smokey Robinson with his Skinphonicn brand, and of course Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty. Entertainers have also taken the beauty reigns as seen with Kim Kardashian’s KKW Beauty and Frgrance and Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics.
