Countless Fans Await To Pay Last Respects To Nipsey

With Nipsey Hussle‘s funeral minutes away, fans lined up to celebrate his life the way they celebrated his words before passing.

The doors opened at 8AM and fans were lined up ready to wish their final farewells:

The only other time the Staples Center held a memorial this massive was in 2009 for Michael Jackson‘s funeral.

Nipsey‘s loyal fanbase was moved by his deep rooted efforts for the community’s progression. He wasn’t around for the fame and the fortune, he was in it for the people. He wanted to see everyone succeed, not because of him, but with him.

Even cops were moved by his impact to the community.

A Police Department in Mount Vernon, NY honored his memory with a projection of him on their building while they blasted his music.

Thousands paid their respects in cities across the country from the West coast to the East coast.

As reported by The New York Times, Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti expressed his condolences:
