UK-based indie artist Connie Constance is an eccentric rising star making her own way in the music industry with great tunes like Let Go, Answer, and Fast Cars. Born in Watford, England in 1995, Connie Constance listened to bands like The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, and Blur. She released her debut EP “In The Grass” in 2015.
Connie Constance‘s debut album, aptly named “English Rose”, was released earlier this year and has garnered critical acclaim from music outlets like Pitchfork, saying:
-“Constance’s voice takes on scratchy, sonorous depth that brings to mind the subterranean soul of fellow London artist Nilufer Yanya and King Krule.”

In an interview with the BBC, Connie states:
-“When I first started making music I knew that I was a long way away from making the sound that I wanted to make, and I was open to that, open to experimenting and even putting my experiments out to the world.
I just thought ‘it’s fine, it’s gonna take me a while.’ So it’s probably a shock that it actually sounds like all the stuff that I thought it would’ve taken me a lot longer to grasp.”

Connie Constance has the most unique indie soul sound and introspective lyrics that separate her from other emerging young artists in the scene. “English Rose” is full of genre bending teenage angst and brutal honesty that delivers something truly new and original.
