Cardi B and Steve Madden Collaborate On A Poppin’ Shoe Line

It’s already known  that Cardi B makes moves. Already a big influence in the music industry, she is branching into fashion with her new Steve Madden collaboration “Curated by Cardi”. An extension of the rapper’s fun, feirce personality and style, the designs range from the classic pointed pump, military inspired lace ups, and platforms to ankle clutching  heels and sexy thigh high boots. To introduce the collection, Steve Madden also released a short video series “Daily Tips with Cardi B” with Cardi herself modelling the shoes.

Steve Madden was the chosen company  because of Cardi’s history with the brand.  “Back then I died for a pair of Steve Madden shoes,” she said on Refinery29, “I love how [his shoes are] affordable but [still such] great quality.” Knowing that Cardi has style influence, her and her stylist, Kollin Carter, wanted to create products that could be accessible to her fans , according to WWD. – another reason to love Cardi. Steve Madden himself told Refinery29, “she has so many looks, she’s adorable”. It’s evident why this collaboration came naturally and we can’t wait to to rock this collection.
