With Cardi B’s debut album release “Invasion Of Privacy”, Cardi broke Apple Music’s records. This album brought in 100 million streams so far. The record broken was for the most-streamed album by a female artist in its first week.Taylor Swift previously held that record with her album “Reputation”. Her album had around 1.216 million copies at the end of the first week of the release.
The Album also currently holds #5 on Apple Music‘s worldwide chart of most streamed albums ever, beating Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” and The Weeknd’s “Starboy”. However, it is safe to say “Invasion Of Privacy” will be at #1 after next week. If this occurs Cardi B will soon be the fifth female rapper to top the Billboard 200.
