Cardi B Is Open To Violence For Press

At this point, Cardi B can drop anything and Press is gonna love her for it. Cardi‘s latest single takes a few shots at the press.
I’m not sure how else to describe this song except violent af. Definitely more violent than previous songs. The beat keeps you on edge, like a movie that’s about to get to the part where someone is brutally murdered, or like all episodes of Game of Thrones Season 8, or like that scene in Titanic when the last piece of the ship is sinking and Jack and Rose are getting ready to hold their breath because they may or may not die and you’re holding your breath too because it’s 1997 and there was two whole VHS tapes of build-up to get to this moment.
That’s how this song feels.
Aside from the beat, the lyrics are threatening af too! We know Cardi fights people, we saw it in the press last year (sorry, Cardi. I’m with the rich people f*ckery. it pays my bills. please, have mercy.).
Special shout out to the background music during these lyrics for the aforementioned vibes:
-“Done with the talking I’m open to violence
Ask anybody they know I’m about it
Hashtag, #whipthathoass
Fuck around, we gon’ start a new challenge”
“Done with the talking I’m open to violence

Do you see what I’m talking about??
What makes this song’s vibe different from previous songs is that the sound is a little more mature. This isn’t your Bodak Yellow kinda pop-ish sound. It’s a harder vibe. Her voice is a little deeper for this one and it makes a big difference.
And the picture. We need to mention the picture. It was inspired by serial killer Aileen Wuornos.
