Cardi B and Offset Secretly Got Married Last Year

According to TMZ, Cardi B and Offset are already married and have been for almost a year!

TMZ obtained a marriage certificate that was filed under their legal names in Fulton County, GA for September 20th 2017.

You may remember that Offset publicly proposed to Cardi B on stage at a concert in Philadelphia back in October of 2017. According to TMZ’s finding this proposal was just for show, as they were already married by this point.

Reportedly, Offset originally proposed in September 2017 and the couple got married the same day. There was no big ceremony. Cardi B and Offset were married in their bedroom by an officiant and Cardi’s cousin was the only witness.

The revelation comes just one day after Offset accidentally referred to Cardi B as his wife in public. At Sunday’s BET Awards Migos won best group. Whilst accepting the award he said “I thank my wife. You should thank yours.”

This is not the first time people have speculated about the couples relationship status. Even before the real proposal in September and the public proposal in October, there were rumors that the couple was engaged. Cardi B dismissed these rumors at the 2017 VMA’s on August 27th. In response to a question MTV news correspondent Meredith Graves she said… “The rumors, I don’t think they right. because I don’t got nothing on this finger, but you wanna know something? When the time comes he’ll put it there.”

Perhaps it is unsurprising that Cardi B and Offset kept up their engagement as a publicity stunt, as most of the milestones in their relationship have been publicized.
