Beyhive Rejoice! Beyoncé and Jay-Z Welcome Twins

A tweet from Beyoncé’s  father, Matthew Knowles, confirmed the birth of her and Jay-Z’s twins on Saturday night, “They’re here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday.”

Rumours were circulating the Beyhive late last week that the Queen B and her crew were at UCLA Hospital, shutting down a floor in preparation for the birth of her two kids. People were excited to hear that Beyoncé was finally giving birth after months of maternity pictures that have been posted on her Instagram.

Beyoncé announced her pregnancy back in February via an Instagram post with the caption, “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. The Carters.”

The twins will be the singer and her husband’s second and third child. Their five year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, will be a big sister for the first time.

There has been no official post by Beyoncé or Jay-Z regarding the sex and names of the newborn twins.
