Arizona Ice Tea is truly expanding their horizon these days. Not only are they looking to make cannabis-infused beverages, last month they linked up with Adidas to drop 99-cent sneakers that had unfortunate drawbacks; but Arizona and Adidas aren’t giving up just yet – now they’re releasing a more official footwear lineup.
The new campaign is shot in a very vaporwave aesthetic, matching with Arizona‘s iconic summery, brightly-colored packaging that goes on all the classic Adidas silhouettes of sneakers as well as slides, for those hot days when all you want is an ice tea!
The designs are mostly informed by different types of the brand’s ice tea. Each shoe comes with bold prints such as cherry blossom accents and vibrant geometric patterns from the Arizona cans. The footwear includes men’s, women’s, and kids’ lines, and has many different colorways.
The women-exclusive Continental Vulc kicks give reference to Lemon and Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey flavors. Hypebae describes the two pairs to be, “black nubuck and canvas alongside a geometric pattern seen on a can’s design,” and “pink and turquoise with an all-over print of the flavor’s cherry blossom pattern paired with bright pink nubuck panels.”
The other two Coninental Vulc shoes seem to be unisex – a Mucho Mango in yellow with nubuck and canvas framing embroidered graphics all over the shoe, and a Watermelon that is basically the same but in red.
The Adidas Originals by AriZona Contiental Vulc sneaker and Adilette slides have their global release September 1 on adidas’ web store.
