Amit from Israel Drops Debut Single “Forward”

Amit, a rising singer hailing from Israel just launched her debut single “Forward”  and the lyric video has already clocked 360,000 views. “Forward” shows off her soulful vocals with R&B melodies. This single is the first of six tracks that the songstress will drop over the next few weeks, leading into the release of Amit‘s debut EP this fall.

Born in a small town near Tel Aviv Israel, Amit started singing when she was just six years old. Today, she fuses pop and alt R&B together in her original music, citing influences from around the globe such as Jorja Smith, Khalid, and Sabrina Claudio. Although not many Israeli musicians make it onto the international stage, Amit has already caught the eye of a producer at iHeart’s Z100 radio station and performed at the iHeart Dunkin Donuts Lounge series in New York City. She is extremely passionate about music, stating:

“Working on my music gives me life, and it’s an outlet for all of my emotions, good and bad. This is my purpose.”
