A Zendaya and Tommy Hilfiger Collaboration Is In The Works

Remember back in 1996 when rumors broke out that Tommy Hilfiger reportedly stated that if he had known minorities were going to wear his clothes he wouldn’t have made them “so nice” and that he wished they wouldn’t wear them?

Though that statement was never proven to actually have came from the designer himself, it would of been a huge contradiction being that minorities have been the recent face of his campaigns in an attempt to garner the attention of the millennial audience.

The designer recently teamed up with famed race car driver Lewis Hamilton and will now partner with one of our favorite starlets Zendaya.

Recent reports from The Hollywood Reporter stated that Hilfiger handpicked the actress as his latest brand ambassador.  In turn, Zendaya will design a collection titled Tommy x Zendaya.

The collection is set to release in the Spring of 2019.  Hilfiger stated:

“I love to collaborate with people who are passionate about making their dreams a reality and who inspire the next generation to do the same.”
